Driad Field Privacy Policy

When you use the App, we collect:

• Account information, such as your email address and account identifier.
• Content you create or add in the App, such as photos (taken in the App or selected from your photo library), related capture data, and any notes or other information you enter.
• Precise location, when you use features that rely on it, such as maps and recording where content was captured. Location is only accessed while the App is in use.
• Technical information, such as an identifier generated by the App for your installation, the App version, and your device model and operating system version.

We do not collect contacts, health, financial or browsing data. The App contains no advertising, and we do not use your information to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

We use this information only to:

• provide the App and the services your organization has subscribed to;
• associate the content you create with your account and your organization;
• keep the App and our services secure and prevent misuse; and
• provide support and fix problems.

Some information is stored on your device so the App can work without a connection, and is sent to us once a connection is available. If you enable Face ID, Touch ID or fingerprint sign-in, the App only receives a yes-or-no answer from your device's operating system and never has access to your biometric data.

We do not sell your personal information.

Information you create in the App is available to your organization. We also rely on service providers that process information on our behalf, such as cloud hosting and storage, security, and mapping providers. They may only use it to provide their services to us and are required to protect it with a level of protection equivalent to this policy. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Our service providers may store or process information outside Québec and Canada. When they do, we take reasonable measures so that it receives adequate protection.

When the App is provided to you by an organization, we process information on that organization's behalf under our agreement with it. That agreement may contain additional terms about your information, for example on retention, access within the organization, or deletion at the end of the service. If it conflicts with this policy on how that organization's information is handled, the agreement prevails. It does not limit any rights you have under applicable law. Your organization's own privacy policy may also apply, and you can contact it directly about your information.

We keep information for as long as your organization's account is active and as needed for the purposes above, and then delete it within a reasonable time, unless your organization's agreement provides otherwise or the law requires us to keep it longer.

Depending on where you live — for example in Québec and Canada (Law 25 / PIPEDA) — you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to withdraw your consent. You can also ask us to delete your account and its data. To make a request, email us at privacy@driadai.com and we will respond as required by applicable law. Because accounts are provided by your organization, we may involve it in handling your request.

You can stop location, camera or photo access at any time in your device's settings; some features may then be unavailable.

Information is transmitted over encrypted connections and access to it is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The App is intended for adults in a professional setting. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
